Sustainable Agriculture
Everyone is talking about pushing the boundaries of innovation. We’re working with UNICEF, with support from @dfat’s ANCP, to democratise access to it. In Burundi, our innovation and entrepreneurship program is empowering student-led innovation and enterprise. Note: The production has been conducted in Burundi with @AMIZERO PICTURES Team and the post-production was done in Australia.
Learning Against All Odds
In a context marked by vulnerability and emergencies, this documentary highlights concrete actions that restore hope for children. Through the construction and rehabilitation of classrooms, the establishment of school feeding programs, and cash assistance to vulnerable families, the project works at the heart of communities to prevent school dropout and ensure continuous access to quality education in a safe, healthy, and protective learning environment. An inspiring immersion into the lives of children, families, and those driving lasting change.

RESTORATION BUSINESS THAT HEAL THE EARTH
Land restoration is challenging—but Perfect Village Communities (PVC) turns it into opportunity. In Burundi, PVC works with farmers to restore degraded land through agroforestry, local herbs, and affordable natural fertilizers and pesticides—boosting incomes, yields, and food security. With support from TerraFund and Restore Local, PVC and local communities are growing 36,000 trees to restore 300 hectares across Bujumbura, Cibitoke, and Bubanza. Uvira's Land Restoration Warriors
- English (UK)
Uvira—at the northern tip of Lake Tanganyika and a key crossroads linking the DRC, Burundi, Tanzania, and Zambia—has faced decades of conflict and environmental degradation. In response, local communities, alongside Plant with Purpose and Ebenezer Ministry International, are restoring degraded lands through sustainable farming and reforestation. With support from World Resources Institute’s Restore Local initiative and TerraFund partners, farmers are planting hundreds of thousands of trees to protect watersheds and livelihoods in Uvira and Fizi. Produced with Amizero Pictures. Note: Filmed in early 2025 before renewed conflict in the Kivu region.
